Founder & Executive Director

Michael is the Founder of Priority Wellness Campaign, Inc. and currently serves as the organization's first Executive Director, appointed by the Board of Directors on October 24th, 2022.

Michael has been in the emergency services field for a little over 5 years. He is currently an Emergency Medical Technician certified in NYS and Nationally Registered. Michael is also certified as a National and NYS EMS instructor, and a Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher.

Throughout his time as a first responder he has seen his co-workers struggle with their mental health, some didn’t win their battle. Noticing a severe lack of resources locally for first responders, he formulated a plan to start a local organization focused on supporting the mental health of first responders and advocating to remove the stigma behind responders seeking mental health services. As an EMS provider that has experienced trauma from his emergency services work, he understands first responders and the things they experience like many cannot.

Michael is certified in “Assisting Individuals in Crisis” and “Group Crisis Intervention” classes offered by International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc.
