PWC Launches "The Blanket Brigade" Initiative to Support First Responders

WATERTOWN, N.Y., MAY 11, 2024 – Priority Wellness Campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the mental health and well-being of first responders, is excited to announce the launch of our newest initiative, The Blanket Brigade. This program aims to provide comfort and support to the brave men and women who serve our communities selflessly every day.

The Blanket Brigade invites our supporters to participate in creating warm and cozy fleece blankets that will be distributed to first responders as symbols of gratitude and appreciation for their tireless efforts. Each blanket serves as a reminder that our first responders are not alone and that their dedication to our safety is deeply valued.

"We are thrilled to introduce The Blanket Brigade as a way to show our unwavering support for our first responders," said Michael Briggs, Executive Director at Priority Wellness Campaign. "With this initiative, we hope to not only provide physical warmth but also emotional comfort to those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others."

To kickstart the Blanket Brigade program, Priority Wellness Campaign is seeking sponsorship support from community-minded businesses. Sponsorship contributions of $500 will help cover the initial costs associated with launching the program and will provide sponsors with valuable visibility within the community. In return for their support, sponsors will have their company name and logo featured on the packaging of the blanket-making kits and on the webpage for The Blanket Brigade on Priority Wellness Campaign's website for the first year of the program.
